The mission of the Worldwide-Library is to make as many books as possible available over the internet and that these may be downloaded without charge as either e-books, or in a format that allows the user to print them when required.

The Worldwide-Library is a non profit corporation registered in the UK, set up to undertake this mission.

We are making available a wide range of knowledge,  factual, religious, and fiction, including classics, historic documents and many others. We will also be publishing specifically for this library new works, not published elsewhere.

As far as we are able we will respect all copyrights, publishing material that is out of copyright, where we have permission form the copyright holder, or commissioned works for the library.

The yellow buttons on the left are of general interest, while the green buttons look at the library from the point of specific groups.
